Smile Maritime Loser!!!

Hello everyone! I am a newbie to 3FC and to message boards in general. I'm usually a surfer, not a participant....lol....I found this site by accident, and I'm VERY happy I did. I joined WW about 3 years ago and lost 22 lbs. I did 3 sessions and was never able to lose any more, so I gave up. I have started again, but I believe that I will actually be able to do it, this time. I have been reading a lot of the posts here, and have posted a few of my own questions, and I think there is a lot of support here. I am feeling more motivated now, than I have ever been. I am following the Weight Watchers Core program this time, and I am actually enjoying it. Hope to meet some others around the world doing the same! Later!

Hey AgathaChristie, and

Have you found our Weight Watchers forums yet? We have a forum just for WW Core followers, as well as general chat areas, so do head over and check them out.

We also have groups by age group (20-somethings, 30-somethings, etc), and many other miscellaneous areas and challenges, so take the time to explore and find a spot that feels right to you.

Settle in and get to posting. Can't wait to get to know you better!

Thank you, mandalinn82 and scoobie74, I appreciate the welcome. Yes, I have found the WW Core forum, and found LOTS of meal ideas.

LOL!! I guess I should clarify: No, I'm not on a ship (I really wish I was though!). I am from New Brunswick, Canada, which is part of The Maritimes (includes Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island and Newfoundland).

Hi there . . . from another Maritimer.

BTW, it's my understanding that the Maritimes includes just New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island -- when you add Newfoundland and Labrador (which is a single Province, made up of two former territories; for any of you that might be wondering ), you then have to call us "Atlantic Canada".

Hope you'll be able to drop in to the "Crazy Canuks Cluck Club" thread in the Support Groups Forum from time to time. We'll all be looking forward to chatting with you over there.

Agathachristie, your user-name just melted my stony old early morning heart.
Welcome to the forum!
You're living in my favourite part of Canada. Every few years we go there for our "ocean fix". Two summers ago it was Newfoundland. I love the Bay of Fundy on the NB side. It's so incredibly awesome.
Please keep posting... you'll meet some wonderful people here!

And Linda, I did not know that about the term "Maritimes". I thought you were all lumped into one.

Thanks so much guys! This site definitely makes you feel welcome. Yes, technically, I guess the whole area is the Atlantic Provinces, but since we are so nice, I think Newfoundland should be included! hahaha....

ellis, meowee, BlzMaxGnrCCJkMly - thanks also....as is probably obvious, I love Agatha Christie, she is one of my favourite authors (my cats are named Agatha and Edgar [Allen Poe] ). I look out my bedroom window to the Bay of Fundy, so I also think it's pretty awesome! lol....
