Just posting in here to introduce myself and say hi. My name is Danielle and i am about to turn 21 years old. While i am rather young i am no stranger to dieting and being very overweight since i have spent my life yo-yoing up and down. Currently i am at by far the heaviest weight i have ever been due to many factors such as thyroid issues, Fibromyalgia and than just plain giving up. I have been dieting now since Feb and just joined the gym at the end of feb which is when my real weight loss has started (judging by the numbers). I have just gotten to the point where i feel like this fat is costing me to not go out and really live my life, it holds me back from so much and it's time to change that. Im going to Las Vegas for the first time the end of August and at this weight there is noo way im going to survive the heat not to mention i would never step into a bathing suit and my cousin is getting married in December and i fully intend on looking smoking hot lol.
You may want to check out the 20-somethings or the Dieting with Obstacles area. Sounds like you've made some great changes so far. Stick with it! You can do this!
Hi Dancer girl! This time is different - this time, you should not give up! Keep up at the gym, and have a plan. All of us here would love to see you make some major progress before Aug. and Dec. Explore all the forums, and the blogs, and have fun with this! I like to make it a project, a hobby. Good luck!
