I'm sure I have a very similar story to many on here. I've struggled with my weight pretty much my whole life. I can't really seem to get the balance right; I'll eat too much and not workout or workout too much and not eat enough.
I'm currently 216lbs. My highest weight was 256lbs and my lowest weight was 198lbs. I recently tried the Master Cleanse (Lemonade Diet) where you just drink a lemonade concotion for a 10day fast. I did it for 5 days and gained back the 10lbs i lost over a weekend. wonderful.
soooo, i'm going back to the tried and true of counting calories and working out more.
Have a look at the Does It Work Forum . . . you'll find that most cleansing regimens just tend to strip out some water and as soon as you eat food again, the scale goes back up.
When all is said and done the only thing that really works is the good old "eat less; move more". Various diet plans are really just different versions of getting to that same bottom line.
