Hi all. I'm Lyn from Ireland. I am 26 and I really wanna get this damned weight off and start living. I am trying to lose some lbs before I have WLS, will opt for the band. Had my consultation just over 2 weeks ago. Hopefully have my op in about 4-5 months. :)

I know exactly what you mean about losing weight and starting living!
I'm starting again today for about the millionth time - but am determined to stay on the straight and narrow this time. I'm 29 and live in Scotland - really want to have made a big difference to my weight by the time I'm the big 3 0 in November (so I'm hopefully not quite such a big 3 0!)

Mary, nice to meet you. I too have a fear about being the same weight or bigger when I'm 30 lol. Something scary about that number, suppose its same with all that end in zero. :D
