Default hi all, can has anyone got any suggestions please?

Hi all, my names rowena and i've just joined up this fantastic supportive site I have recently since october last year lost 20.9kgs, sorry i'm not sure what that is in pounds i think its equal to 46 pounds? Anyway i've changed my whole life style to healthy and liking the change. I've so far been finding it quite easy to lose this amount until about 3 weeks ago i've hit the hard part, where all the bad habbits are wanting to take over eg bad eating habbits the exersise is good, could be better but the cravings for chocolate etc is unbelievably hard to pass by so the last 3 weeks i've been finding myself frequently going off track. I don't want to wreck all this hard work i've already put into losing the weight and getting healthy. I know everyone goes through these hard times but does anyone have any tips please that will help me get back on track? as i could really do with the help thanx

Charmed1 (Charmed TV show reference? )

First, I'd like to say "AMAZING WORK!" on those pounds lost. Fantastic. You've done such a great job.

You've gotten to a point now where it's time to recommit. Remember how you felt at your highest weight? Remember how you were willing to do ANYTHING in order to lose weight and feel healthier? Reflect on that feeling. Try to begin tomorrow like it's Day 1 of the changes again. Log everything. Force yourself to log everything if you have to. If you remember why you wanted to change to begin with, if you can recapture that feeling even for a few minutes, it might help you move through this time.

Best of success!

Hi and welcome!

Hang around 3FC. Nothing keeps me on track better than reading here several times day.

Rowena, welcome to the forum!
Try picking up 20kg and carrying it around all day. Do you want to put that back on your body?
Many of us have experienced what you're going through. Sometimes things are "easy", and other times we just have to plod along and do the best we can. Keep plodding, and as Faerie said, you will recapture that feeling.

Welcome and congrats! You've made amazing progress! When my old bad habits try to take over, I find it helpful to intensify my workouts a little bit. I find a really good workout to be a great appetite suppressant/will power boost. Good luck!!

Rownea, it's nice to see another kiwi on here.
Man! You have done so well, 20kgs, that's fatatsic
!!!! don't let the slow down in losses get you down.
At some time we all plateau I have stayed the same all summer, not up/ not down since December last year. I am going nowhere fast,
Keep up on the swimming One of the best things you can do to tone up,
faerie is right, time to start writing down everything you eat, and remember why you wanted to lose, and most of all how far you have come in a very short time.
