Just starting out, well...again...
Hello everyone,
I found this forum while trying to do some research for good ol Weight watchers. I just started this week. It's definitely time that I do something about my weight. I'm off work for 6 weeks due to medical problems and I've already gained weight in the first 2 weeks!!! I'm 26 yearls old, i've been a type 1 diabetic for 17 years and I weigh 197.2 lbs. I couldn't believe it when I weighed in this week. I weighed that much in high school but managed to lose A LOT while spending a year in Europe. I kept it off for several years, mostly because I was waitressing and therefore keeping pretty active. I'm now a Correctional Officer in a jail, and well...it's a government job, and what they say is sometimes true..we do do a lot of sitting around. I work a lot of nights and there is just nothing to keep us busy. So, therefore IT IS TIME!!!! I need to get rid of this extra weight that seems to like me and get back into shape.!!!! I'm looking forward to interacting with everyone here and getting some much needed advcie and support.
