hi, my name is deedee, i'm a 32 year old woman that weighs 270lbs and have several health issues, some related to overweight, some that has lead me to this 270lbs. Im not sure how to lose this weight with all my health issues, im really just looking to meet some caring and understanding people that will not judge me. I hope to meet all of you.

I havent' been here long, but so far have lost 12.5 pounds, and definitely consider this site to have been one of the big reasons I've done so!

I have some health issues due to my weight and I gained my weight from the birth control shot. I have high cholestoral and hypoglycemia. I talked to my doctor about a diet and exercise program to help me. My doctor put me on a low fat diet and a normal work out schedule. If I haven't lost 30 pounds in 3 months then we will talk about diet pills to up my metabolism. So far, I have lost about 10 pounds in 3 weeks, so I am hoping to stay away from the diet pills.

Hi Deedee, and welcome. I'm still getting familiar with the forums here myself, but I know there is at least one for those of us dealing with health problems that make losing weight difficult (fibromyalgia for me).

Hi Deedee welcome to 3FC. I started this journey at 272 and seem to be in a similar situation as you. This is a hard and long journey for all of us and 3FC is such a great tool to find support and inspiration. Even when you are doing this your own in your personal life you will have support here. Its a wonderful thing!
