I found out about this site yesterday while I was at our local library. I was reading either "People" magazine or "Us" magazine and in an article this site was mentioned. So I signed up last night and just wanted to pop in.
I have been on Sugarbusters for a while now, it will be one year in March.
I have lost 62 pounds during that time. Last February 14 I had cataract surgery and during the blood work found out I had diabetes. AFter the cataract surgery I began seeing a diabetes doctor and he suggested Sugarbusters. I did have to begin on oral meds for the diabetes, high bp and high cholesterol. I am so pleased, not only with the weight loss, but with my lab work values actually going down! I go back in March for a follow up and I hope to be able to either reduce some of the meds or maybe in time get off of some of them (there are 6).
Anyway, didn't mean for this to go on so long. I look forward to being here and getting to know folks here. Thanks for having this site.
