I'm not "new" on the forum per se, because I joined two years ago, but I posted only once and lost my way afterward. I'm back.
I'm a psychology grad student at UVM, and a recent transplant from Cleveland, OH. Even though outdoorsy type things are big around here (hiking, biking, skiing, etc.) I haven't really gotten into them yet. Maybe soon! I'm hoping there are some other Vermonters on the forum
Like a lot of you, I have a LONG way to go toward reaching my goal, which is just to be "normal" and healthy. I can't wait for the day when I can shop somewhere besides the big girl store, cross my legs without sitting at 45 degree angle (you know what I'm talking about...) and fit on an airplane seat comfortably. Right now I'm battling my chocolate addiction (damn you Snickers!) and trying to wean myself off of pop. So far I've lost 30-some pounds, which is great. But I think I've got some more changes to make before I can get any farther.
Oh, and my favorite weight loss website (besides 3FC, of course) is pastaqueen.com.
See you guys around

for your new start.
