Smile Newbie with a request :)

Hello all, I'm new to 3fc but certainly not to dieting lol.
This time is IT for me though, I've never been more focused,. I'm not even going to let my measely 2.7lb loss my first week bother me, even though I didn't cheat once, walked 30 minutes everyday and drank enough water to sink a ship...OK, Maybe it's bothering me a bit lol.

Anyways lol, I need new music for my walks and I was wondering what you liked to listen to while working out?

I was out tonite and had my Ipod on shuffle, well I was in a dark wooded area when the theme from the movie Phsyco came on!! (I had forgot I had made a Halloween playlist for a Halloween party!) did it ever freak me out, I did get a good workout though because I practically ran home lol.

Take care.

Hi! I'm new too

I'm Really into Simon and Garfunkel, but they shift from Perfect walking music to slow and quiet so I'm not sure if thats any good. I think the 50's - 60's upbeat songs are great for keeping the pace up like The Monkees lol

ChunkyDunker - that is an awesome weight loss for a week! You need to celebrate and embrace your success. Personally, I listen to contemporary Christian and good ol' rock-n-roll. But I'm a child of the 60's and 70's, so that may account for my taste in music.

to both of you new CANADIAN Ladies ~ I like a vast array of music; some of my favorite dancing/walking are Irish Jigs & Scottish dance music which are upbeat (but I am in my late 40's). I really luv classical and contemporary Christian too; but our collection includes 50's & 60's rock and roll; and some nice country as well, like Shania. I actually still have some disco albums around here somewhere; but we haven't listened to them in awhile ~ lol!

CHUNKY ~ CONGRATS on the almost 3lb loss; for one week that is very good really. Please be careful out there on your walks; can you walk somewhere where there are lots of lights like a park, or do you live in the country?

RISTI ~ we have S & G and the Monkees; plus Diana Ross & Supremes and Neil Sedaka, which are nice and bouncy. We have too many others to mention here though. Abba's music is quite peppy too.

There is a CANADIAN THREAD here if you would like to visit there sometime to connect up with other Canadians now and then. It's called CRAZY CANUCKS CLUCK CLUB in the 'SUPPORT GROUPS' Forum.
