Ready to make a change for life

  • Hello everyone! I have not posted before, but I have read alot here already and am so happy to find this site. The stories are so inspiring for me as I need to lose alot. I did South Beach before the gluttony of the holidays and before that used Biggest Loser recipes to lose some weight. I think now I just need to stick to something and start exercising.

    It's really amazing how we let days, months, years go by in an unhealthy rut. I have said for years I need to really take control. And I have a few times, but end up giving up quickly. My husband and I both need to lose significant amounts of weight.

    I have been fascinated reading the book Thin for Life by Anne Fletcher. I want to be a "master" too! I want to find something I can do for life.

    It's great to be a member here and I look forward to chatting with you ladies.

    Yeah - we all just need to stick to something and start exercising...it is the execution that is hard! Good for you for making the decision to step OUT of your rut and find a healthy weigh of being.

    Have you seen the "100 lb Club" forum yet? It is a fabulous, active group of girls who have had 100 lbs or more to lose...head on over and say hello!

  • Welcome, when I did south beach for the first time I dropped 30lbs easy and was determined. I still follow it and enjoy it, its just sticking with it. If you still choose to follow that plan maybe I can share some good snacks, or reciepies. Good Luck!
