Default Hello there, guess i'll introduce myself :P

Hey, I'm Kati

I'm 21 years old and I'm from the UK,
many many times i've said "i'm going on a diet" but, it never works out, I always cheat with chocolate, or bread! But this time i've decided to say, i'm eating healthy - it sounds less daunting.

I searched a few forums, and this seemed the most popular one, lots of other forums used the 3fatchicks counter, so I decided to sign up here

I weigh in at 12 stone (168 lbs) and my perfect weight would be 8 1/2 stone (121 lbs), i'm at a pretty unhealthy stage as i'm only 5"1 so I really need to do something about my health. And I was hoping that this forum & community would help motivate me, as I will try to help motivate others.

From some of the posts i've read here you all seem very friendly and helping towards eachother which is assuring.

Roll on losing weight!

Hi Kati, and

You know, most of us prefer not to think about "going on a diet" - after all, we can go OFF diets, right? That's how you gain weight back. So you'll see us around here a lot saying "this is a LIFESTYLE CHANGE"...you can't "screw up" on your lifestyle change like you can on a diet. You can't "blow" your lifestyle change. You can just keep working at it and perfecting it, with none of the guilt of having done something "wrong" if you have a day where you make choices you'd rather not have made. There is no way to "cheat" a lifestyle...maybe there are ways to improve your choices, but you're never doing something "wrong". The attitude change really helps!

Keep posting here! Have you visited our UK Chicks forum yet?

Can't wait to hear more from you soon.
