Default Hello Everyone!!!!

I'm Tamie!! I found this site by looking for weight loss support groups.

I am 31 yrs. old, 219# and I wouldn't say I'm unhappy, I'm just disgusted with being fat. At the age of 18, I was 103. I have 3 children>>>13y, 10y, &22 months.

I was on Weight Watchers for about 3 months and I was doing good but then I guess I got depressed because I hit a road block and didn't lose anything for about a month even though I was still doing everything I was supposed to do. So I quit, and all the weight I'd lost came back plus 12 more pounds. Needless to say, it's pretty depressing, but I'm ready to go for it again. I'm hoping to find new ideas and better support.

I can't wait to get to know everyone!!!!

Tamie glad you found us. Plateaus are a horrible thing to have to go through but once you get over them it's worth it. Good luck with your lifestyle change and don't let the plateas get to ya just keep pushing thru

Hi Tamie, and

Sounds like you hit what we call a "plateau" - you do the best you can do, and you're STILL not losing. It's CRAZY and definitely challenges the willpower of even the most dedicated among us. But I am living proof - if you KEEP WORKING, eventually you'll break through it.

Since you've had success before, you know pretty much what you need to do. So now is the time to DECIDE to do it and go. Keep posting here, keep asking for help when you need it, and get settled. You can do this!

I can't wait to get to know you better!

Thank you very much.

Mandalinn, I read your story early this morning before I posted an intro. It is very inspiring. I've spent the majority of the day going through blogs and forums. Lots of stuff to go through. I'm really looking forward to going through some more of it!!!!!
