Hello.

My name is Christine. This is the first time that I have ever taken part in a weight loss forum, so I'm new at this. Basically, I'm trying to fall back into old habits (which may sound strange at first). Allow me to elaborate: I used to be an incredibly healthy young woman. I was an excellent weight (125 lbs) and enjoyed exercising. However, about a year ago I had surgery on one of my ankles, leaving me in a cast for six weeks and then on crutches for another four. The result was me gaining a great deal of weight and becoming a very unhealthy individual. With the stress that ensued shortly after being able to walk once again I couldn't manage to lose any of the weight. Although I've been trying to lose the weight I have not become completely serious about it yet. I'm experiencing the awful disease known as "there's no way I can do it" syndrome. I'm determined to shake that horror now, though, and I hope the support on this forum will help me do so.
