Hi everyone! My name is Lara and I finally decided to join since you all seem so supportive (and I'm addicted to biggest loser and all the weight loss shows and there's so much discussion on these here!) I'm 25 and currently 255 lbs but so far I've lost 30 lbs just by doing dvds and exercise videos online. i hate the idea of going to a gym so i figured i'd lose some weight before showing my face in one of those! I also wanted to join just to thank and bless everyone for starting this forum and being involved and making a supportive place to come to. U rock!
Lara! You've got a great start getting in some exercise ^^ It doesn't ever have to be at a gym if you don't want! Walks here, videos there, outdoor activities... it all adds up! But if you'd like to hit a gym, there's no reason why you should feel bad about going. After all, everyone's there to be healthy
We start biggest loser challenges with some regularity, so keep an eye out for a new one that you can join! There are tons of other great resources and ideas here, too, so look around and keep posting.
