My name is Jen and if you can't tell, I'm really new here. I'm sitting at 295 lbs and signed up at Curves and doing the Curves 6-Week Solution. I'm on my second week of working out and my first week of dieting.
My goal (total) is to get to 150. I'm hoping I can be close in two years! Time will tell.
I'm getting married in June to a skinny skinny man, and I just don't want to look ... strange standing next to my future hubby.
Anthony is so supportive and honestly, loves me for me... but I DON'T love me for me right now. I just want to get healthy, thinner, and more active.
I hope to make some friends here and I can't wait to meet all of you!

you,ve come to the right place for support and friendship everyone here is so nice. Your goal sounds realistic and certainly achievable if you want it bad enough you can do it. I know what you mean about your FH and not wanting to look strange next to him, but he loves you for who you are and I know it is hard but you should love yourself too your body isn,t what makes you, you if you get what I mean. Your goal weight is the same as mine and funny enough my DH is an Anthony too he is Italian, I feel embarrassed sometimes when I stand next to him I ask myself how could he want to be with this tubby but he does and he loves me but he isn,t the reason I,m losing weight I,m doing it for the reasons you are to be healthy and more active but most important of all I,m doing it for me. You are lucky your FH is so supportive that is half the battle won right there, and you will get heaps of advice and support and encouragement here,
with your program and I look forward to catching up with you again cruise the forums and jump right in wherever takes you fancy.
