I have managed to lick the salt habit (pun intended
). My best suggestion -- just do it. After about a week with absolutely no added salt, you will discover that the craving really diminishes. Everybody else's cooking suddenly tastes way too salty.
Unfortunately, I still crave ice cream and chocolate. So I just have to stay away from them as much as I can. And then there's peanut butter . . .
