Here is my short story and I am glad to be here, all!
I found this site a week ago and decided I needed to join. This looks like an awesome place for support and help and acceptance. I have read some threads and journals and was very inspired by some before and after pictures I saw. You all should be very proud of yourselves!!!
I have gained about 60lbs in the last 2 years and now is the time to start taking it off. (I used to be a fitness instructor for 3 years and have worked in an office now for about 2.5 years.) Weight loss is my first thought when I wake up and last thought when I go to sleep (and 30 minutes of pilates a week just wasen't working for me).
As I said in my profile, I have been clean off drugs for a year now, (and plan to be the rest of my life!)... and it seems I have replaced it with eating!!! My gift to myself is to work on my weight. I know it will make me happy. I am in an awesome relationship and now it is time for me to ACT on what I want and begin my journey.
I did 20 miuntes of cardio and stretching on Saturday.
1/2 pilates on Sunday- and I can feel my muscles comming back (I have been doing pilates for a while now)
and 25 minutes of cardio today.
I have decided to work on my fitness and getting moving, and hope that will inspire me to work on my diet as time goes on.
Mini goal of 10 lbs by Thanksgiving!
