Hi everyone... Just a quick introduction to say that "I'm here..!!!" but I'm not sure what to do now... So much to look at... Any suggestions on where to start..???

There are so many people here that are so supportive you will feel like one of the family in no time at all.

Everyone here understands the journey you are taking to become a thinner more healthy person. We know it isn't always easy. Come here and let us know how you are doing, we are interested. Look thru the posts, you will find there are all kinds of things people are doing to lose weight and keep it off. Please post anywhere you feel you have something to add or have a question.

We aren't on a diet. Diets don't work. Those that are succeeding with their weight loss have figured this out and are changing how they think about, look at and eat food. We eat to live not live to eat.

You will find there are some that use set types of plans like Jenny Craig and Weight Watchers. Some count calories some go to great length to plan everything they eat.

Myself I use a salad plate instead of a lunch plate. A lunch plate instead of a dinner plate. Portions are something I am really working on. When the family is having one of my favorites for dinner I eat what they eat. When they aren't having one of my favorites I eat lean cuisines.

You will get lots of good ideas, then you decide what is best for you.

When you think you are all alone. When there isn't a person in sight to give you encouragement. Remember, God is always right there beside you. Usually yelling, put down that candy bar.

Hi & !

As far as the forums go, have a good look around at the different support groups There are a ton and the people are so friendly.

If you're looking for different types of lifestyle changes, people here are following a myriad, and always willing to tell you what's worked for them. I personally have been following WW points for about 5 months now and it's worked best for me. There are so many choices that it's good to have a look around and see. You may need to try a few before you find out what kind of person you are & what style works for you & your life

I hope you find everything you're looking for!
