I accidently found this sight yesterdayand after reading some stuff I realized this where I need to be .Everyone just seemed to be in the same rut.I had a drs app. last week and after being told I was fat and had high cholesferol I figured it is time to get healthy agajn.I have battled the bulge my entire life it just seems like a battle since i quit smoking'::now I am smoke free and food addicted . well here i am and i look forward to chatting with all of you and getting to know peeps thanx

Hello! I just wanted you to know that we are both on the same page. I've got High Cholestrol and totally out of weight. Once I had my son I was never able to loose my weight. I'm starting to try and figure out which weight loss plan will work for me. I look forward to talking with you.

I'm new too. In May I was told I had high blood pressure for the first time. Scared me into action. It's a long hard road and nice to know we're not alone.

Hi Brenda - Welcome! This is a great site... just read some of the new posts and see what interests you and post away. You'll get lots of good info and support here.

p.s. I strongly suggest calorie counting if you are new to losing (or just newly motivated). They have a very strong thread going on here.

I am new here too, found this site today. I was told by my doctor that I was
very overweight and she even offered to recommend me for a stomach op! I really dont want to go that far, being operated on scares me. Since that fateful day I have been on a diet and am doing well. I have tons of weight to loose and am pleased to find a site with so many people in the same boat as me.
