Newbie Greeting
When my husband uploaded his photos from our beach vacation to the computer I looked at the fat girl in the pictures and could not believe it was me. When I weighed myself, sure enough I was just 0.4 pounds shy of 170. At 5'1" - this is a problem.
Somehow I have managed to gain neary 30 pounds in the past 3 years from a combination of returning to school and working as a nurse. I had a nice bit of loss a year and a half ago where I was taking care of my diet and doing yoga and Tae Bo nearly every day. When the scale read 148 I was convinced I would not be over 150 again. I fell out of the good habits and into a bag of chips . . . and frozen custard . . . and wine and butter sauce, you get the picture.
So I am trying to slowly wean myself off the bad habits and into the good ones. I started the Fat Smash Diet yesterday since it seemed like a good way to detox off the sugar and red meat I have been pigging out on lately. I also know that forum support it a good motivation to stay on track, but I did not want to join one that focused just on one type of exercise or diet.
So here I am at 3FC - I turn 30 in 6 months and I want to look and feel great for this milestone. Wish me luck!
