New to Site
Hi,
I have actually been lurking around the site for a week or two. I decided to "officially" join because I wanted on of those cool weight loss progress thingys. I am turning 35 this year, have a two year old and I quit smoking in Jan. I was actually doing ok losing the baby weight until I quit smoking, then I started going in the wrong direction. I just bought a treadmill and used it for the first time today, but I have not decided on a diet plan yet. My parents and doctor both recommend South Beach. I hope to talk to you guys soon, wish me luck! |
Good luck! It looks like we are trying to lose about the same amount of weight. I am doing Jorge Cruise's 3 hour diet. It seems to be working pretty well, I am not hungry, and 2 lbs. so far! Good luck!

:bravo: on quitting smoking!! Yay you! If you can do that, you can do anything! And congrats on quitting at a young age, where your body has so many excellent smoke-free years. :) I just began my weight loss efforts July 1. So far I'm 17 lbs. lighter. My energy level is much higher from all the walking and I can tell how much my body is LOVING the healthy low fat foods. South Beach, huh? There's an entire South Beach folder here, which you've prob. already discovered. Best of luck to ya! p.s. That chick in your ticker looks mighty determined!!!:D |
