i'm female 47 and live on an island in the mediterranean sea. married for close on 27 years to my childhood sweetheart and mum to two lovely sons.
i've been gradually putting on more and more weight over the years lose some gain some.
i recently tried the shangri-la diet. although this has proved very successful to many people it just did not work for me.
but now i have stumbled upon the fast-five diet and in the last 6 weeks or so i have lost approx 4.5kgs (about 10lbs).
i'm also happy to have found this forum and hope to make some friends here!!

Welcome to the group! Where are you exactly? We just got back from our vacation in Rhodos (obviously near the Agean but close to the Med ), I would absolutely LOVE to live there!

forgot to mention that at my heaviest i was 98kgs. recently managed to get down to 89.6kg and i'm feeling very pleased with myself. i'm trying to find out how to attach a ticker to my signiature....

Congrats on your loss so far! I think if you just click on someone's ticker you should be able to make your own
