Hello from Oregon

  • I just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Lisa, I live with my two children and I have been strugglin with my weight for the last few years. I have recently joined curves, and have lost 12 pounds since June. I'm really excited about the weight loss and hope to find the encouragement and information I need here.

I've never joined anything like this before and I have a really hard time talking to my friends about weight loss. I've always been ashamed of my weight and tried over and over to ignore it.. but now it's time to get myself out there, and do something about it!

I look forward to meeting you and sharing our success stories together.

  • Welcome Lisa! You have a very positive attitude about this, and that alone will get you a long way! Best of luck to you
  • Hi, Lisa, and welcome to the board! This is a great place for finding support. It's almost easier to talk about things here because you're kind of anonymous. Good luck with your loss!

  • Welcome Lisa!
  • say goodbye to another 3 pounds!!
Weighed in today.. and another 3 pounds gone!! I just don't know how to update my scale, so I started another wieght loss tracker. Can someone tell me how to update this so I don't have to start a new one each time. And thanks Mary, kara and Kayla for welcoming me.

  • Welcome Lisa... :Bravo: on your loss so far! Keep at it!!
  • Welcome, congrats on the weight loss! I am also from Oregon, Medford to be more precise!
  • Hi Lisa. I'm a former Oregonian (Portland, Milwaukie & Bend), now in No. Calif.

Congrats on the 12 lb. loss! That's a nice beginning :-)

Hope to see you around 3FC. I'm new too.

    Hello and Welcome Lisa

To update your tracker..you first want to have the tracker put in your siggy area. Then when it's time to update the weight change, all you need to do is go into edit signature and then type in the new number. When you save, it automatically changes the rest of the tracker for you.

    Hope that helps a little.
