Hi all, i'm danni/danielle (whatever you prefer). I'm 17 years old and173 lbs at a height of 5'4. I've decided that i want to lose weight for a number of reasons, i recently realised i gained a stone, quite a shocking revelation which made me quite depressed, but i decided theres no point in being sad for myself and binging even more on food.... so i'm putting my efforts instead into my weight loss, so i can be fit and healthy and do normal activities at my age which won't cause me to be short of breath!
In the long term i'm hoping to lose 33lbs, which will make me 140lbs, an ideal weight for my height according to BMI charts. The thing is, i have no clue where to begin!

I know to eat less, more healthily and to exercise more... But the thing is i don't know what's a right balance. This forum seems like such a good place for help that i decided to ask here first, i would really appreciate any help given by any of you guys, because right now... i'm lost! =[
