Hey!

My name's Ava and I'm a 26 year old high school teacher from Sydney, Australia.

I spent a while browsing the posts on this site, and felt myself instantly being motivated by your postings of support, ideas and ventings.

Most of my friends are at a very healthy weight, and don't have my specific issues. They try to understand, however I would love to talk to fellow weight-losers - who knows what I might learn!!!!!

I've had issues with my weight all my life, previously losing 30kgs only to put it all back on again when I moved overseas (Japan). Now I'm back in Australia and want to get rid of the weight!!!! I live with my friends, so it's hard to coordinate meals. So I'm going on Lite N Easy - I've tried it out before and it was good. I'm going to give it a go, if it doesn't work out, I'm still motivated to lose the weight and get healthy once more!

Anyways, I'm around so I look forward to talking to any or all of you!!!

Welcome!! i just joined also and find the site very helpful. I am on South Beach Diet and I really like it. I am trying so hard to reach my goal but often times get side tracked. There are too many bbq's and birthdays in the summer. Good luck with your new diet and again welcome!
