A friend of mine pointed me in the direction of this place a while back. After hitting a weight loss plateau, I decided to just suck it up and go somewhere where others are experiencing the same things I am. After I got married, I started gaining weight. I think part of it was that I had married a military man, and had moved to a place where I knew no one. So as a lot of people know, depression can sometimes lead to serious eating. I ballooned up to an amazing 260 lbs. I am only 5'4 so you can imagine the toll it took on my body. I am now a type II diabetic and have been for two years. In those two years, I have tried so many diets. I ended up losing 50 lbs.
But now, I am stuck. I have been 210 lbs for the last seven months. So I figure I need all the advice and encouragement anyone can give me.
So I wanted to say hello to all here. I hope to make some new friends and gain some motivation.
