new to the site
high everyone. my name is Pennie and i'm new to the site. i read an article in Oprah magazine on friday and decided to check it out. i've always worried about my weight even back in high school when i was as skinny as a board so now of course i'm infatuated with it. i'm 5'7" and 160lbs. and would very much love to be at 135lbs. it all started with kids. i have three wonderful children and after the last 2 which are now 9 and 11, oldest is 16, i just wasn't able to get back to my previous weight. i have been at 160 now for about 4 years and i'm finally ready to do somethong more about it than just complain. i eat sensibly, lots of salad, and a lot of times i find myself not eating at all which i know is not good for me, bad habit, but my weight stays the same. i do not excercise at all and really need to be motivated there. i think that would be the key to my sucess but i just can't get myself to do it. it seems that everything i do has to do with my family and when i finally get time for myself i just want to relax. i know, more excuses. that's why i decided to join, for support and motivation. please help me with this because i know i can't do it alone.
