Hello,
I am not new on this site or on weight loss.. I had my share of past successes and gain in my life. Have been lurking and decided to post to find a daily email or PM buddy who can relate with me, weight and plan wise. I am a good giver on moral support to others, but when it comes my turn, no one seems to care like I do. I have email online friends, but they seem so busy and not very talkative about the ups and downs on weight loss/health life issues. So I am hoping and praying I can find a few buddies to share the tackle of life, weight, food and heck, what else to share.
My history on weight loss struggles on being on a diet plan/calorie ,fat, etc counting, which never had much luck. I am 40, single, no kids, never been married, but do have a boyfriend for 14 years counting. I had tried weight watchers, atkins, south beach, richard simmons, and did have the strong mindset and luck on staying on plan. I was confused and always flip floping from plans to plans to make it right. but never succeed within a day.
I recently had colonoscopy done on May 17th, had stomach issues and the test came out good...had a plylop, which my stomach doctor taken off. My stomach doctor suggested on me being on high fiber diet...which I knew about High fiber from being advid reader on health books. So, few days after my colon test. My weight was 410 and started eating high fiber foods and light exercise at home. I down 21 Lbs so far and am a firm believer that fiber does curb my appettie and when I am hungry, I snack on oranges, or air popcorn, or any fiberous foods depending on my hunger..I currently weigh at 389, but changes daily, since am a scale watcher. I am happy that am losing, but don't have friends to talk with on my issues and weight level..sure feels alone, in a way.
I am keeping a food journal and counting fiber..am eating a balanced meals and snacks and even have my dark chocolate for my sweet attack. I am hoping on making one or two buddies who can relate of my post and share success with our weight loss efforts.
Thank you for listening and best wishes to all.
