Default Hi! I'm new and here's my story

Hi! My name is Joni and I am 29. I live in SC with my wonderful husband. I found this site about 6 months ago and have been reading it on and off since then. Here is my story...
I was always semi-chubby, even as a child. My lowest weight in high school was around 140. I never ate right but was able to keep my weight under control because I was in marching band (yes, I'm a "band nerd" but hey, marching is good exercise) When I graduated high school I was around 170 lbs, I think. Then came college and the weight PILED on, I didn't finish college but by the time I left I had gained around 30 lbs maybe more. After college I just completely let myself go...my highest weight was 230 in 2000. I started a very physical job in 2000 and in a year lost 20 lbs, I never changed the way I ate but the work took the weight off. In March 2003 I met my husband Chris, I weighed 215 then and he loved me anyway! In April of 2004, 3 months before our wedding, I decided that I wanted to go on a diet, and for the first time ever I actually stuck to it. I started out doing low-carb and on our wedding day I weighed 170. It's been almost 3 years since our wedding day and I now weigh 129. I am no longer low-carb (I discovered that I love fruit too much to be able to give it up) I now count my calories. I still would like to lose 9 lbs, but they won't move Sorry for the lenghty intro, but that's me in a nutshell. I always enjoy reading all of your posts and hope to make some new friends. Thanks for reading!

How tall are you? Depending how tall you are will dictate how much you should weigh. You could be as short as 4'10'' up to 5'5'' for 120 pounds.
