    Hi my name is Kelly and I am 21 years old and I currently live in Los Angeles.

    I am so happy to find a place where there is support for people who struggle with weight issues.

    The past 3 generations of the women in my family have been overweight. My grandma passed away 9 years ago, partly because of her weight issues and being bed ridden because of it.

    Just wanted to give a little backstory about myself. I hope to chat with all of you soon.

    Most of the women in my family are also overweight. It's actually more like obese, but that got to be the most unflattering word! So, I deal with it, too.

    Are you new to LA ? I know at least for me, moving from the west to the east coast was very lonely. Un-thankfully for me, I got reacquainted with my frenimy . . . food.

    I hope all is well, and keep on posting and getting closer to the body you desire.
