Red face I want my pre-baby body back!

Hello, this is my first post and I have to admit I'm a little nervous! Well here we go....I'm 22 years old and a mother to an 11 month old baby girl. When I got pregnant I was around 175 and gained around 40 lbs. I got up to around 216 when I gave birth and am currently at 170 lbs, which sounds great since I weigh less now than I did before I got pregnant. Well the problem with that is I feel like all my muscle is lost and even though I weigh less now, I feel fatter and look fatter in pictures. What's up with that?! If there's any other young moms trying to get their pre-baby bodies back and are having success PLEASE give me some advice on how to tone back up. I want to weigh 150 lbs by June, is that a reasonable goal or am I just setting myself up for failure. Any responses and advice are appreciated! Thanks

I am totally with you on the wanting the prebaby body back. I am a mother of two, 6 yrs and 1yr! Both were boys, and I gained a lot with both, even by watching my food intake. I feel and look sooo fat in pictures, I can't stand it! I've been watching my calories and going to the gym for over a month now and nothing! Can you believe that? I know muscle weighs more than fat, but I don't even see a difference in my clothing. Lets help each other out!

If you've been working out and still haven't seen any results, you might want to try a new type of workout. Like if you were doing the treadmill, maybe try to mix it up with the elliptical or rowing machine. I know that when I stick to one exercise my body doesn't respond so I'm constanly trying to find new types of workouts. I hope that helps!
