There are plenty to chose from! I myself like the 40/40/20, which is approx. 40% of my meal is lean protein, 40% is carbs, like most green veggies (not bread, pasta, sugar), and 20% essential fatty acids, like olive oil, almonds, peanut butter, etc. and split it up so I eat about 6 times a day. Sounds hard, but it actually isn't and will lean you out in no time. For breakfast for exp., 1/2 cup oatmeal with spray butter, Splenda, a fruit, and egg whites/egg beaters. No bread though. I am somewhat refined carb resistant. Somewhat like the Zone but I like to vary. I've tried Weight Watchers, (hate math and love dessert too much), South Beach, (I wanted more food and didn't have time to do their recipes), and of course all frozen meals (I also need more than a measly 9 ounces for lunch and dinner......).
Hope you find a diet plan you like, but I don't really diet, I just choose from most things fresh, fruits/veggies, chicken, fish, on the outside aisles of the supermarket and stay away from refined carbs like bread, pasta, etc.....
Glad you joined!

Hey Lia2,

I think there is a place on the site where you can find reviews of different plans and what they involve--look around and see if you can find it.

I'm a calorie counter myself, and I rely a lot on frozen meals from the supermarket because I'm not so good at meal planning and cooking. Of course, I also eat fresh foods like vegetables and fruits and a few breads here and there.

Enjoy!

Hi Lia!

Welcome!

Read all you can and try some ideas out that people have mentioned. Don't be afraid to make adjustments along the way.
