Hi berta,
I got my motivation back in time for the new year and I do 95% of my exercising inside my house. I already had an exercise machine from years ago (Total Body Trainer by Jake) so I started using that once I took the clothes off it.

I haven't used it as much lately since it's in my basement and it's cold down there so then I started putting music on and doing indoor walking and jogging through my house. I lay on the floor and do the bicycle exercise. I dance in a totally uncoordinated dopey kind of way just as a way of keeping my body moving.

I've really started to get into the indoor walking thing. I got some of Leslie Sansone's tapes & DVD's and her equipment...the stability ball, 2-pound hand weights, belt, the loop for the legs...and I've got a stretchie still in transit. I've been thinner before but I've never been toned before so I'm hoping the gear and her Pilates DVD will help with that.
Anyway, you don't have to buy all that gear. But you can definitely exercise in, through and around your house. My exercising doesn't even last that long...I manage about 10-15 minutes before I have to rest but then I'll go back and do it again later. Put on some music that gets you moving and makes you feel good. Be spontaneous. If you're sitting on the couch and you've got some time and feel up to it, do some exercising while you're watching tv.
Try to come up with something that you will find fun and enjoyable.
