I am at a loss, don’t have a clue which way to turn. I have been a diabetic for several years. Last October my sugar started acting crazy. My doctor finally put me on insulin in January. I started out on 8 units of levemir, and have gone to 40 units now and take 45 mgs of Actos. I have been using the weight watchers diet for a month and only lost 2 pounds. I work out 3-5 days a week for 1 hour. Nothing is bringing my readings down.
So today I decided that I would do the low carb diet. At least that might bring down my readings. I just need some motivation to not give up, which is exactly what I want to do. Anyway, this is where I am.
But I am happy to be here.
thanks

to this website! WW is an excellent program but a lot of diabetics follow Sugar Busters or South Beach to cut carbs. There is a whole part of this Forum dedicated to Dealing with Diabetes. Just click on
