Red face Hit Rock Bottom..Ready To Climb Back!

Well here I am...yet again! Last year I had done really well and made it all the way down to 157 pounds! Thats great for someone who was once 204 lbs! But life brings us downfalls....my dh had a job change and took a pay cut to go back to the job he loves. I knew to make up for the loss of pay that I would have to go back to work...that was fine with me as long as my dh was happy doing a job he loved.
I decided to take the summer off and spend it with my two young children before I looked for a job. I gained a little weight over the summer and in August I went back to working as a CNA in a nursing home, a job that I love dearly.....however.......since being back at work I have ballooned up to 190 pounds!!!!!! This is quite depressing for me....and I know that I have to get back on track to lose the weight....I just can't get motivated. We have planned a vacation and are leaving on April 19th to spend a week in the Smokey Moutains. I would love to lose about 10-15 pounds before we leave, and continue to lose and be fit and healthy when we return.

Might I also add that at this current time I am off work due to the fact that I hurt my back and can not lift more than 10 pounds.....are there any exercises that I can do safely to help me get jump started? I've vowed to myself to come here and post daily and read posts of those who were once in my position.

Any advice is welcomed! Thanks.....Jamie

Hi Jamie-

I was a CNA before, I know it's very physical work. I'm not sure what exercise you can do other than walking. Sometimes that may be too much if the back injury is serious, I guess. I've lost and gained significantly twice in my life. Then I just kept gaining the past few years. I hope to lose weight and keep it off this time. I am moving very slow but I want something I can live with forever. What kind of eating plan are you following? Good luck with your plan.
