Default Anyone in IL?

Hello everyone! Im 24, I work full time and Im in school part time, finishing with my bachelors degree. I have been in a relationship for the past 2 years and have become shall we say "comfortable" and have had some extra pounds sneak up on me! My journey begins tomorrow, monday March 5th. Begin weight 210, ultimately I would like to lose 50 pounds. Does anybody have any tips out there as far as diets that have worked for them? (Aside from Atkins because Im not a big meat eater) I do not have enough time with my schedule to go to the gym everyday, I plan on joining Curves. I was also looking to have a chat buddy or workout buddy if anybody lives near me? Im in the western suburbs of Illinois??? Thanks for reading everybody!!!

Default Lost in IL

I am also in IL. I am in the central Illinois area! Since I have had my little boy ( who is now 2 1/2 ) I just keep seeming to gain weight. We just moved here from FL last summer, and I don't really know have anyone to work out with. I joined a gym last summer, but have not gone regularly. Good Luck to you!

I do know where Morris is My bf used to live out in tinley park so we were often times out and about in the south suburbs.

What other diet methods have you tried? Ive tried LA Weightloss, the supplements and nuturitional bars got to be too expensive and a hassle to have to go in every week to weigh in. I also tried Weight Watchers, but counting points and calculating all that stuff out was a little embarassing at work and school. I dont want everybody knowing Im on a diet!!! I have been reading a lot about weight loss medications but am a little hesitant to try? Any advice?
