Getting Healthy in Texas
 

Hey! My name is Katy, I'm 23 years old and I'm ready to start looking fabulous again. About 3 years ago I lost almost 60 lbs over the course of about a year and was down to 140 lbs. I kept the weight off for a year, started a new job, was totally stressed out and lazy and gained probably all of it back over the course of 2 years. And that pretty much brings me to where I am now. At the start of the New Year I finally realized I couldn't keep doing this to myself. Since then, I've been eating healthy and exercising. I haven't stepped on a scale in who knows how long for the simple reason of seeing how high the number has gotten. But I do know I'm feeling better, which is so good. I'm going to guess I weigh around 210 right now but I could be (way)off. I'm going to get myself on a scale soon enough so I know for sure. My end goal is to get back to 140. I was feeling/looking fantastic and I want that back.

You'll find that lots of the people who post here on 3FC have been in the same place you are--and we are looking to change that! Be sure to look at the different forums (there are many) and see if any appeal to you.

Welcome fellow Texan.....We have all done that...lose it & gain it back, lose it & gain it back. I've lost weight several times, all of them from pills and crash diets. I decided that this time I would have to change my way of life and keep it that way...good luck
