I haven't been on here very long, but I absolutey love it here!
I have to comment on your post -- I'm glad you are trying something different for your weight loss, but please do not think of this as your "last chance". There are no last chances, just different approaches, if one doesn't work for you, then it's time to try something else. Maybe a liquid diet will be just what you need to get started and the momentum to continue on. But, it's not about the diet, it's about your comfort level with the changes you are making. This is for your life -- not just the rest of your life, but your wellbeing. It's all about the little changes, not the drastic ones -- because the little changes you make are the ones you can stick to. Get a litte more exercise each day, discontinue one snack a day, etc. This needs to be something you can live with forever, so "diet" is not a word I use, because it suggests a beginning and an ending, and there really isn't one for wanting to feel better, lose weight and get on with your life!!
Talk to your doctor about your concerns with the medications -- that's their job!! They need to know how you feel, what the problems are, etc. in order to make this work for you. That's what you pay them for!!
Welcome and best of luck. There are so many inspirational people on this website, cruise around and settle in!!!
