hello! I'm new!
Hello there!
I need to lose weight, so I decided to join up here. :) My main problem right now is that I lose resolve halfway through the day. I always start out thinking, "Today I'm going to eat really well!" Then by the evening, I just eat whatever junk food is nearest. :o Maybe checking in on this website will help... I'm going to go explore now. :carrot: |
Forgiveness- don't make foods bad or good and keep up with the positive affirmations. A really wonderful woman on this message board has a quote that says, "Eat for the body you want, not the body you have." Stay strong, keep repeating positive things, if you don't believe them now... you will soon. WELCOME! :hug:

Sometimes it helps to have a more specific plan in mind--as in, what you are going to eat for meals and snacks. That might help you sidestep the loss of resolve. Best wishes! Jay |

Welcome! Try eating something nutritious every three hours or so. I used to get starved and then would grab whatever was handy (ie. JUNK!). Now I eat something every three hours and am not ever reaching that crazy "I must eat everything I can put my hands on" feeling. Also try making sure that you have protein at every meal. I found that carbs alone made me feel famished very soon after eating. Cheryl |
