New Here and Ready to Begin
I just found this site today and I have been poking around most of the morning and am really impressed with all of the information and support.
I was inspired to start to lose weight again watching Bob Greene on Oprah the other night and this time it's gonna work!
I do not have any plan in mind - I will read Greene's book and the You, On a Diet Book in the next week or so, but will otherwise focus on eating more natural foods, increasing my water intake, and exercising -- and then settle into something a bit more formal in the next month or so.
I have yo-yo dieted since high school, but have not been at my goal weight since law school 10 years ago when I had time to play tennis daily. My weight has crept up gradually since I got married in 1999 and this is the longest I have gone without getting the weight off (but I do have two great little boys to show for it ;-) ).
So today begins my new journey - I know there will be lots (and lots, and then lots more) stumbles along the way, and that I will be on the journey for the rest of my life, but ready or not, here I come!
