Default New Chick Here! HI

Ok.. well i'm the new chick on the block or the new chick here anyway I am far from new at dieting though unfortunatly i've done it all, almost every diet imaginable spent a bazillion ( as my daughter would say) dollars on equipment, recipie books, weightloss plans etc.. If Weight Watchers had a frequent joiner miles i'd be vacationing somwhere nice .. I feel like I keep back tracking but now is the time to take control of my life my weight has robbed me of so much i'm sick of it , feeling this way.. I need to find some willpower and some support that's why i'm here to be inspired by you all to feel less alone in this battle and to hopefully make some new friends! And maybe help someone else along the way!!! Well hello to all !! Glad to be here !! I'm gonna do it this time!!!

This is the first time I've gotten support for it as well. My first day on here, actually. I haven't been to any "group" things before, but I joined Quick Weight Loss when I was in college and lost 25 lbs. I'm just as excited as you are! We've got about the same to lose, too

Hi mommy L and Celest, I'm new here too. There are a few of us who just started here at 3FC and we're posting in the "New to WW" thread here in Introductions. Come on over! We're going to weigh in on Fridays and I say the more support the better! I'm still stumbling my way around 3FC but am really liking all the threads and information.

Jo

Talking Newcomer.

Howdie Yáll!!

I am from Down Under and no doubt, like most of you, I have tried a myriad of punishing regimes and acrid elixirs to smooth out generous curves and to drown out my parents' nagging. (Yes, I am 32 but this has no bearing on their "good intentions")

Not to give excuses - (here is one coming tho' ) but I do have a glandular problem - however this only quickens the speed of which pounds come on - tis not the cause. I love eating, adore it. My multitude of sins, the least of which are Starbucks frappes (evil, conniving franchise that they are - and darn no - don't hold that cream ) always come back to haunt me.

I know, it's willpower. However I think it has also been a case of 'not wanting' it badly enough.

Until Now.

Now I can see clearly why I never succeeded in the Sureslim, Atkins, Betta-Life, Weight Watchers, Chemical, South Beach, Vegetable Soup and low GI diets. Or why they were only shortlived. I didn't want it badly enough.

However, this has culminated in an increase of SIXTY POUNDS, over five years and the pounds are steadily increasing. I am going to eat myself into a grave if I don't do something about this rut I am in. The heavier I become the more obsessed about food I am and the less energy I have to change. Both physically and spiritually. ARGGHH.

I am sure that you are all very familiar with this struggle.

I am glad to be joining this forum and finally be implementing lifestyle changes that will hopefully see a sixty pound reduction in weight.

Look forward in being a part of the endeavour of becoming healthier.

Til' Next Time...

T.
