Hi everyone. I am 34 years old, I live in Ontario Canada. I'm divorced but now living with a wonderful man. He has 3 kids, so I'm also a step-mom. They're in their late teens and early 20's. Only the eldest lives with us.

Over the past 18 months I have gained 20 pounds and I am just disgusted with myself. I am a stress-eater and the last year in particular has had its share of ups and downs. My life has calmed down and I am now ready to focus on getting my body back. I used to be so focused on health and fitness. I exercised at least 5x per week, I ate a healthy diet and I looked good!

I have lurked on this site for a couple months now and finally decided that I needed to be somewhere where I felt accountable, where I could track my progress and where I would get support from people who understood.

So, this is a quick hello and I hope I get to learn more about all of you soon!

So glad you are finally crawling out into the open. You have definitely taken the first important step on the journey to better health and fitness. I know you will find a wonderful response wherever you choose to travel on these boards. The support arround here is just wonderful. Since you are familiar with the territory from your time in "lurkerdom", I won't try to make any suggestions for you. Feel free to jump in anywhere that catches your eye.

Just wanted to send a big HELLO to a fellow Canadian. Although I've been living in Nova Scotia since 1994, I was born and raised in Toronto (one of the few, I guess. Most people in Toronto come from somewhere else -- although now I think they skip right over Toronto in the rush to get to Alberta ).

You have a great moving and shaking kind of evening, chickie. Hope you will enjoy hanging out at 3FC as much as I do.
