shey237 -- welcome -- this is an awesome place! Look around and you'll find lots of inspiration, tips and support!

One comment I would make is to be careful setting deadlines for weight loss goals. The scale isn't really fully under our control -- weight loss isn't linear, even when we do everything right. And then we can do lots right and just lose slower than we want to. I see a lot of people set goals, not meet them, feel like failures and quit. They may have lost a lot of weight, but because it wasn't at the pace they wanted, they gave up!

you might want to think about the things that are under your control and focus on them... like how many days you exercise, or stick to your plan, etc.

Also, remember that while you're motivated today, it's not going to be like that every day. I think we need plans in place for when the motivation isn't there.

Well then to both of you. This really is an amazing place. Full of advice, support and encouragement. Shey237 that is a nice goal to work towards, a family reunion. I felt so evil, our family was all together recently and I felt so good - here's the evil part - I am no longer the fattest in the family, my sister-in-law has that crown. She could keep it as far as I'm concerned. See I told you it was evil .

I am also getting myself back on track today. I am working with the Six Week Body Makeover plan. I have a list to go to the store early in the morning to make up some foods for the rest of the week so all I have to do is the warm ups. I look forward to finally "Getting er done" this time.
