Default Day 1-shedding for the wedding IP style

Hi All,

I wanted to start a thread to say "im starting over...again...for the third time..im not a quitter". So since i postponed my wedding that was supposed to be in may..ive really done some inner reflection and i am now ready to start over..

Your encouragement is much needed!

So today my plan is to:

Drink lots of water..
Make my packets the night before and put them in individual ready to go container and chop up veggies to have ready to go..
Eat 4 servings of veggies-even though i hate veggies..
And stay away from Gum and Pop.

Wish me luck.

I'm getting married on NYE. When I found my dress, it was a size 22 and was a smidge loose. I ordered a 20 without realizing the dress maker has a 3 inch difference between sizes. My dress didn't even come close to fitting back in August. I tried losing on my own but it wasn't working. I started IP on 9/30/11 and have lost 26.4 pounds. I tried my dress back on after maybe 15 pounds lost and it fit! I go for my first fitting on 12/3 and can't wait to see how big it is. The inches keep falling off along with the pounds and I'm down 2 pant sizes - in only 7 weeks!
I just want you to know this does work. I did this for me and did not want to have any regrets looking back on my wedding day pictures. I just wish I would have found IP sooner! But also, remember that your fiance loves you for who you are. If losing the weight before you say 'I do' will make you happier, then by all means go for it! But don't lose sight of the big picture and hold off on starting your future together for too long!

My advice.

1) Take it one day at a time.
2) Rearrange your attitude regarding vegetables. "I haven't found vegetables and/or a way of eating them yet that I like, but I will keep trying."

Modern dating services are focused on a conscious approach to communication. If you want, you can check out the uniformdating.com dating website. Users can specify their goals, talk about hobbies and preferences, so that the dialogue starts with genuine interest. This way of dating reduces the awkwardness of initial messages and makes communication more thoughtful and consistent.
