Been through your similar diet situation.... switched to Keto later in maintenance, yep it works,
but you will be upping your calories by quite a bit suddenly, so I would suggest properly doing either Alternative Athletic P1 or regular P2 instead until you get to your goal weight and then after a bit of maintenance practice you could go more keto. Don't add extra fat if you have fat to lose.... your body will use dietary fat first and leave the stored fat alone. Use the hot food packets instead like the soups with added veg in, or the Mac N Cheese, or the vegetarian Chili, the Apple Oatmeal for breakfast, etc. If the job situation means you can't afford IP - there are great cheaper alternatives out there and a great FB page for those doing IP with other companies packets/proteins. Check the threads here for 'Mixin' in the Kitchen' recipes - rainbow did some AWESOME packet hacking and had some great ideas - worth a scroll thru - everything from easy quick stuff when you don't want to fuss, to recipes for special occasions and IP desserts.
