Other cookbooks and what's allowed?

  • Hello! I went through my Paleo cookbooks hoping to salvage some recipes I can use for IP dinners. Several of them call for coconut aminos and I have no idea how to tell if that is ok for IP? If not, what's a good substitute?

    From Googling, I see that it's used as a gluten free substitute for soy sauce and soy sauce is allowed on IP so I assume it is ok but just wanted to check.

  • All the nutrition data for most foods is available on http://nutritiondata.self.com for commonly used quantities (tsp, tbsp, cup, etc.) for easy calculation of Total carb-Fiber=Net Carb since net carb is what we are supposed to look for. Easy to tell how many carbs are in something before purchasing (also, coconut aminos are ok).
