Starting IP today. I have been a lurker for a very long time and finally got my act together But these boards really have slowed down I remember when it was so active, with a daily check-in thread and lots of conversations going on. Sad to see. I know inevitably it comes down to me just doing it for myself. But it's always nice to be able to chat a bit and share.
Does anyone know if there are any other active forums around?
There are many groups on facebook that are very active. I'm part of the Ideal Protein Alternatives group and there are a lot of posts and help each day.
I have completed three weeks of IP. All I can say is DO IT! I have lost 14 pounds in 3 weeks. I need to lose about 20 more but I have NEVER lost weight this fast and I feel really good!!

When I started IP in September of 2010, the threads were active all day every day...100's of posts a day...I was surprised to see how slow the threads are now
