Do you have a coach? At a good clinic? That will be your best resource.

My understanding is that some clinics have added unlimited egg whites to the program. So you might be fairly safe adding those if you like those. Maybe also there is a protein shake that you could find that you feel good with that is low glycemic and high protein. If you swim in the morning, then maybe adding egg whites in the morning will maybe do the trick. It is probably going to be something of a trial and error for you. My coach offered that I could either use an extra packet, or a plain baked potato – so maybe the potato would work well for you.

Thanks for the input! I actually don't have a coach or a clinic right now. I had one back in Maryland last summer, but I fell off the wagon pretty quickly and was left with a ton of expensive IP food. Now I am just going it on my own for a while at first- I think I need to prove to myself that I can stay on this diet for a bit before I make the financial commitment to going to a clinic (plus I have a horrible fear of/discomfort with any kind of doctor's office and the thought of having to go in someplace every week makes me want to outright quit, I am actively dreading having to buy more food). Basically any advice/ support I can get from here is going to have to cut it until I build my confidence up a bit...
