For those of you that are stalling, this sounds a bit weird but I find that I stall at the weights that I held for awhile on my steady weight gain. For example, I weighed exactly 196 for years and it took me about 3 weeks to break that number for whatever reason. And I'm 100% OP. Once I got past it, I'm back to the steady loss.

Just a thought that I wanted to share.
that is very interesting I am below the weight I was at forever, but maybe it's sorta the same thing.....maybe cause I want to get out of the 2teens so bad lol
Congrats Kelly. I have also been in a stall lately. I'm up a few pounds then down a few pounds. Ultimately I am seeing a downward trend but it is taking a while. I see it as a good thing, much better than weight gain. My body seems to need time to catch up with the quick losses.

Yes I think the same thing....I was at 230 for ages....my body likes it here, but I dont. Lol...soon enough
Finally 220's for me but just by the skin of my teeth!

I agree. After I had my 4th baby I stayed around 220 for a few years and it took me forever (so it seemed) to get out of the 220's, well out of the 200's. I also stayed in the 190's for quite a few years and the 180's. So I will keep this in mind and try to be patient!!!
Hi all, I'm am still on the challenge, though I went off plan a couple of weeks ago. I gained 3 pounds, but couldn't figure out how to record a gain on the chart so just put 0. I think I will be back down this weekend to where was I was so it's ok.
This challenge gets tough toward the end of the 90 days huh? I am staying strong and grateful for the weight I have lost since I started the challenge. Being on plan is kind of like auto pilot for me now, it's those "special" occasions that are tough. I have an event tonight that will have lots of amazing deserts, my downfall. I am very focused though and do not want to lose another 3 weeks.
I'm hoping when I get to maintenance I can be on auto pilot too, but I know I'm going to have to track every little thing for quite a while.
I dug through some old posts and saw that some people did a week of P3 to try to get out of a stall...so I am trying it!
I will be sure to report back, as no one seemed to follow up before with results. It feel very weird to be eating fruit & carbs in the AM, but I am glad that I am not enjoying it too much. Cant wait to get back to P1 next week.

Although I lost 1.5 this week, it's slowed up considerably... I would really be interested in seeing your results.
How long is the stall?
A true stall would be 4-6 weeks of no loss on scale or measuring tape. A LONG time - believe me!
Weight loss always slows down as we get closer to goal. For a few reasons. One is that our metabolisms slow down in response to the reduced food intake. Another is that as we get smaller, we require less energy.
All told its been about two months. Early on there was movement, but the down lbs came back the next week. It has been 6 weeks since flat lining. Which is very LONG in IP time. I am not anxious to eat more food, but I am anxious to see more results.
I HIT GOAL!!! When this challenge started I looked at how much I had to lose and thought it might be doable, but was doubtful. I'm so happy this challenge was here to help motivate me to keep on program so I could enter in a weight loss number each week!

I am doing the challenge and according to my home scale I'm down about 25 pounds. BUt, I haven't been able to have an official weigh in with my coach in 3 weeks. I hope to go this weekend and make it official. I am slowing down a bit myself and I think I went 2 weeks with no weight loss and then whosh all at once I went down 4 pounds. I realized before I went down that I was losing inches because my pants were no longer fitting at all. It's weird to me how that happens.
